Track and field, Volleyball, & Basketball
Competitions
The students from Centro Educativo Costa Ballena got the opportunity to participate in track and field, volleyball, & basketball tournaments allowing students to practice, do some exercises, experience new things such as competing, getting prepared mentally and physically.
Students participated in an event organized by the art teachers and is student created and led so that the CECB students can show off their artistic abilities in all areas of fine & digital art, story telling, comedic, musical, & dancing abilities for their individual artistic talent.

Van Gogh Colegio Digital Art Experience
Colegio students enjoyed a digital art immersive experience about the life and art from Vincent Van Gogh at the Costa Rican Science & Culture Center.
Children's Day
Costa Ballena student's grades 1-11 enjoyed a day filled with applied learning and activities to celebrate children's day.
The students of CECB celebrate this important day of Costa Rica with typical Costa Rican dances. The dances are prepared with time and determination and most students participate whether or not they are from Costa Rica. Each song is carefully selected and has significant meaning to different regions of Costa Rica or the culture and life of Costa Ricans.

Cultural Day
Culture day is an annual event in Costa Rica that showcases cultures from Costa Rica and around the world. Each grade represents a culture and creates a booth of food, entertainment, trivia, and visuals from each location.
CECB Science Fair
CECB science teachers organized a collaborative science fair with english and math teachers for the students to show and present their experiments and accomplishments to the school and community. 1st through 4th presented class demonstrations, and 5th through 10th grade presented individual projects, while the 11th graders were the judges.

Last Day of School for Graduating Class of 2024
The 11th graders spent the day with all of Colegio (grades 7-11) at the beach with water and land sports. They all enjoyed ocean kayaking, SUP's in the mangroves, hiking the national park, futbol, frisbee, volleyball, swimming, building sand castles with hermit crab races, and just hanging out for the last day of school.
2024 Graduation
The 11th, 9th, 6th, and Kindergarden grades all graduated with their certificates of completion on the 13th of December. It is a day to celebrate the students and close out the end of the 2024 school year.
